For the next five days, we have two two years olds. Remy, the sweet, broody, hug monster who always makes sure everyone’s okay (“ca va?!”) is two today. He loves playing outside, dessert in any form, and snuggles that never end. He delights in fake crying, books, trucks and playing piano. In fact, Joy has been teaching him how to pick out “Twinkle, twinkle”.
Remy is so smart. He calmly eats or reads his way through Tess’ rowdy declarations of independence, and will sing to himself for hours when we tuck him in at naptime. He’s not a fan of picking up toys, but loves cooking and helping daddy do dishes. He’s also starting to bark instructions at Tess the way she does at him. The co-parenting the two of them do is priceless.
We are so lucky to have a son as sweet and entertaining as this little bugger. Kerna wrote us yesterday and we all agree he’s adorable and incredible! 🙂 We can’t wait to see what the next year looks like!
