Meet Griffin!

Griffin Gabriel

While we waited nervously upstairs, his grandma and auntie were there with his mom Bianca, who worked hard to bring him into this world! He has the fullest head of hair I’ve ever seen, sweet brown eyes, and is an alert, peaceful little man.

Born in Phoenix at 11:02 on May 29th, Griff weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 20.25 inches long. He’s our first full-term, “healthy baby”. We ate that up. He eats, sleeps, poops and gazes around. He didn’t even cry when they did his blood test stick – just winced.

Griffin’s family is beyond awesome. We loved getting to meet some of them in the hospital, and hope to know them better down the road. It’s always bittersweet to meet people as they go through a painful experience, but laughter mixes surprisingly well with tears.

Griffin is home with us today, June 2, meeting his siblings and Joy. We are over the moon to have him join our family. 🙂
