Today was great. Quite simply, awesome. Tess gained another ounce, she’s happy and alert, SMILING! She’s even lifting her head a little. What more can we ask?
Stella, our dog, is happy at the Sibbersteins. Adam said our house is fully under destruction, and mom and I are planning like crazy for the new rendition. It’s really fun to think about the ‘after’ phase. 🙂
We had Denise and Lexie as nurses today, so we were pretty perky. Denise is an active, straight-talking, fun-loving charge nurse with artistic tendencies! She produced our little hand molds at Karyn’s order. The two of them are inseparable and a riot to watch! Denise’s great at telling us what’s what with humor. She’s outgoing and outdoorsy, and coming to Milwaukee for a visit! We’re excited and we’re not even there yet. Denise told the hospital she’d only come in for extra shifts if she could have miss Tess. If our kiddo’s won her over, just think what she’ll be like when she becomes the world’s youngest grandma in a little while!
Lexie, the Wyoming firecracker, has the funniest sense of humor and is super quick-witted. She’s petite with a giant personality and cheeky in the best way! She’s pretty artsy too – many of our scrapbook pages passed through her hands. We would like one of our guys to come to Utah and sweep her off of her feet – so she could come be our neighbor!
At any rate, “the 2-pound terror”, as Dave likes to call her, is tucked in for the night – and we will be too in a minute! Goodnight, all.
